This is the latest pastel painting done in another workshop with Unison Pastels and Emma Colbert. When I started I thought I might be biting off more than I could chew, but was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't as difficult as I had thought it would be.
The reference photo was a picture of Emma's mother's dog - Ruby - which I think is a Maltese Terrier.

ReplyDeleteWow Sue - this is absolutely stunning. I too can see something of Dudley there - his sticking up hair on the top of his head certainly is just like Ruby's. You've been hiding your light under a bushel kiddo! Do please let me know if you ever decide to do paid commissions and I'll be first in the queue for sure!
