Well it's been quite a while since I posted anything! First of all we went on a cruise over Christmas, which was great even with Covid measures in place. Then after we got back had paperwork to do, dental visits, and setting up a new computer plus reformating the old one for Roy. Then I had to help son with his tax return, Today I have managed to make a card for two challenges - hooray!
It is fairly simple though. I heat embossed the Woodware stamp in gold then mounted it on gold mirri card.

How gorgeous, that stamp is perfect for our challenge. Why complicate things when simplicity looks this good? Thanks for playing along with us at the 52CCT this week.

I bought this stamp. I love it. But....it does not ink well. I have had to throw away many papers..I finally got a good full print by laying the paper on top, and then pressing it. What did you do? I never thought of the gold embossing. Thank you for the idea.

ReplyDeleteGood for you for being able to get away on a cruise Sue!!! Couldn't pay me enough to go on one, but I know many love them. I'm just not a "middle of the ocean" kind of gal. lol There is always plenty to do once one has been gone on vacation when one get's back. Glad you were able to get a card made! I am totally in love with this one, that stamp is gorgeous and even more gorgeous in the gold embossing. A great one to mass produce. Hugs, Brenda
