I made this card a couple of weeks ago after I received this lovely die from Charlie and Paulchen. I cut the flowers out of snippets of white card then inked them with some distress inks. I think I used Tattered Rose.
It took me a while to work out how to put the cut out bits together ( it would have been useful to have a little guide put in with them). I mounted them onto a snippet of distressed looking red scrapbook paper and wrappedsome gold ribbon round it. Then as I still thought it didn't look very Christmassy added some gold rhinestones. Maybe it also needs a sentiment on the front.

Very pretty! The flowers are beautiful. Thank you for playing along with the Christmas in July challenge at Allsorts.
ReplyDeleteWell done figuring it out without a diagram, Sue! It's a lovely diecut floral design. You can always add a diecut sediment or leave it just as it is. Thank you for inspiring everyone at NBUS! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteLovely card Sue and gorgeous Christmas Roses. I can imagine it being tricky working out the placing of the die cut pieces with no real guide. Well done though! Love the result.

ReplyDeleteWonderful card. Great colors. Love the CAS look. thanks for sharing over at Crafty Catz.
ReplyDeleteNot heard of this die company before and now wondering if all their dies are difficult to place. Glad you persevered as your resulting card is gorgeous. No sentiment needed in my opinion. Immune systems are so complicated to understand and treat. They have told me I won't feel any benefits for 6 months which takes me to christmas time. Hugs Mrs A.
