This fortnight the challenge is Victorian Romance chosen by Caz. I have used an image from Lunagirl, and created my topper in Craft Artist. I thought the idea of cats getting married was rather sweet!

Digitally Sweet #123 -" Dance like nobody's looking"
Hello and welcome to another new challenge at Digitally Sweet where the challenge is "Dance like Nobody's Watching"Our sponsor is Lunagirl who once again has provided some beautiful images to work with.
I as usual created the card in Craft Artist and found some paper and embellishments in my DaisyTrail kits. I recoloured the paper to match the pinky shades in the image. The music panel is from another Lunagirl image we had for a previous challenge. I found the quote on the "net" which is attributed to Mata Hari!

Digitally Sweet Challenge #118 - Using Non Traditional Christmas Colours
Hello blog readers! It's time for a new challenge at Digitally Sweet and today the theme is to "Use Non-Traditional Christmas Colours". We are sponsored by Lunagirl who provided this great image of Santa.
I used the decoupage tool in Craft Artist 2 to give depth to the image. I've never used it before but like the effect it gives. An embossed overlay on the background and a simple bauble (recoloured to match Santa) and pine spray and my card was done.
Do head over to the challenge to see the other DT's creations.

Digitally Sweet #111 - Steampunk!!
The challenge over at Digitally Sweet this week is "Steampunk"! Once again Lunagirl has sponsored us and provided some lovely images.
I have eventually produced a card after a few false starts! This was SO out of my comfort zone! I'm afraid I don't really understanf Steampunk at all - it must be my age (lol!) As usual I created it in Craft Artist 2 using some Daisytrail steampunk digikits.

Digitally Sweet #104- Chocolate and Cream
Apologies for posting this late and my lack of commenting all week. Unfortunately I have not felt very well all week and still feel ropey despite having had a course of antibiotics. Trouble is I can't get to see my own doctor for another week!! but may have to go see someone else if I don't feel any better on Monday. The sponsor this week at Digitally Sweet is Lunagirl who supplied some lovely images to work with. Sorry this is short and sweet - off to languish on the sofa again!

DSC #96 - All About the Boys
Good Morning all. A really quick post from me today as I've just realised I hadn't scheduled or even written a post for today's Digitally Sweet Challenge which is All About The Boys and I've got to go out in a few minutes!
Our sponsor this week is Lunagirl who gave us some great images to work with.

I have kept mine very simple as I decided on this occasion less was definitely more. This week for a change I have created the layout in My Digital Studio from Stampin' Up! I cropped the photo so the white background was removed, added a blue mat, a red sailing ship and the quote at the top. Oh and some grungy lines around the photo. The rest was simply a background paper. If you would like to try MDS you can download a free 30 day trial HERE

Digitally Sweet #87 - Mothers
Welcome to another week at Digitally Sweet. Here in the UK Mother's day has been and gone but not in the US so the theme this week is "Mothers". The sponsor is Lunagirl who gave us some lovely vintage images to work with. As usual I created this card with Craft Artist. The other elements were from the Daisy Trail digikit "Grandparents" and the quotation was one I found on the internet - so true!

Digitally Sweet Challenge #82 - Anything but a card!
Welcome to another Digitally Sweet Challenge - and this week it is "Anything but a Card". The sponsor this week is Lunagirl and she gave us some really pretty images to play with. It took a while to decide what to make and in the end I opted for a door plaque.
And here it is on a door - not my craft room door as there wasn't enough light to photograph it well. This is actually the kitchen door!

Digitally Sweet #79 Black and White and One Other Colour
Welcome to another week at Digitally Sweet and this week the challenge is Black and White and one other colour. We are sponsored by Lunagirl who has produced some fabulous images for us to work with. I chose some snowdrops and a gorgeous brightly coloured butterfly.
I used the image faded out on the background paper which is from a Daisy Trail digikit (sorry can't remember which one now - I should write these posts as soon as I've finished creating instead of later !). I made the paper more transparent too. Mounted the image onto a green circle matted with black and added the butterflies (all done digitally). I thought it would make a nice Mother's Day card even though I no longer have a mother to give it too. (Mind you she would have hated it as she was very superstitious about the colour green and wouldn't have it in the house if she could help it. She did have to come to terms with it a bit though as my last school had a green uniform - which I hated as well!)

Digitally Sweet # 75 and Valentine
Happy St Valentine's Day!! and welcome to another challenge at Digitally Sweet where the theme is "Hearts Abound" and this inspirational photo has been provided.
The sponsor this week is Lunagirl and she provided us with some gorgeous images to use. I have used two. The first one I used for my background and the second one, these beautiful roses became my focal point. After that I really didn't need to add very much - a few leaves, pearly swirls and of course a heart.
As usual I created my card with Craft Artist 2. Why not join us this week for the chance to win some gorgeous Lunagirl images - just remember that your entry MUST have something digital and if it is 100% digital your entry qualifies twice for any giveaways!!

Digitally Sweet #70
Welcome to another "Anything Goes" challenge at Digitally Sweet. Once again we are sponsored by Lunagirl and I chose to work with this image. It reminds me of a Jack Vettriano painting !
I decided to go for a more CAS style as nothing else seemed to work for me! I used Craft Artist as always to create it.

Digitally Sweet #66 Inspired by Frosty the Snowman
Well I got myself totally confused so you nearly got next week's post instead of this one lol! Anyway I've now got my brain sorted and this week's challenge from Digitally Sweet is Inspired by Frosty the Snowman and we are sponsored by Lunagirl who provided
some lovely images for us to work with. I chose to use Christmas Misc 61.

I'm hoping it looks as if Santa is holding it! I used some glittery bits of holly and the Santa from a kit I have by Algera Designs. I added the snowy glittery look to the background by using the effects on Craft Artist. Hope you like it. Must dash now I've still got Christmas cakes to make and I'm running behind as I went away for four days to visit my middle son and his family as I won't be seeing them at Christmas, and needed a few cuddles from my two little grandsons!
