Make My Monday - Berries and Foliage

Hello and welcome back to a new challenge at Make My Monday. This week the theme is Berries and Foliage - perfect for a Christmas card!

And what better stamp set to use than Wondrous Wreath. For a change I stamped and embossed it in silver and gold which looked really pretty, but it did make it difficult to stamp the berries, soinstead i coloured some tiny pearls with the lightest red blendabilities pen and added those instead. A gold foil "Noel" completed the card. It had to be fairly quick and simple this week as even though I've been back from my travels for a week now, I still feel jet-lagged!!

Make My Monday - Autumn/Fall Colours

It's my turn again this week to choose the theme for Make My Monday and I chose Autumn/Fall colours.

Nice and easy! I have to say it's my favourite season - love the colours, the slightly misty mornings, smell of bonfires and hopefully sun on the turning leaves!

I used the new Wondrous Wreath stamp set and turned it into an autumn wreath. The background is embossed with the now retired woodgrain EF. It looks a bit distressed but that is how it came out - I think my sandwich may have been a little tight, but it saved me sanding it down! The word is cut from gold card on my Silhouette.
