Black and White for Twofers

I hadn't realised it had been so long since I last blogged. I've not been feeling very creative just lately, partly because when it is hot and sunny my craft room is like an oven! Also the hard drive on my laptop failed so it had to go the PC doctor and I have been reloading stuff ever since. I;m hoping that he might be able to recover some of my files but he didn't seem too hopeful. Fortunately all my photos are on an external hard drive - phew!

A couple of weeks ago I entered the Twofers challenge for the first time, and was delighted to be picked in the top 3 with this card. This challenge has been running now for some time but  they never get very many entries despite the hard work of the girls running it. So please do think of encouraging them by joining in.

This time the theme is black and white and I am dashing in at the last minute with my entry. I had been playing with these new dies from Stampin' Up! with a view to making some wedding invitations(not in black!) but thought they would actually look good in black and white. So a sympathy card was made, I like to have one in my stash as when they they are neede they are usually needed in a hurry.

I'm also popping over to the Playground where Miss Di is back in control, as the black card was two snippets.

Black and White Christmas

Well my playing session with Friendly Plastic ended up with it going in the bin! Not very successful this time so I've got nothing to show on that front. However I have now got nearly all my Christmas cards made so here is the first few. The card swap on the Crafty Cow forum this month was black and white Christmas so having made one I then made a few more! Most were from the remains of a Kanban kit I bought from QVC a couple of years ago.

First Somethings Challenge

Here is my entry for Stamp Something's first challenge. The theme is "first something". This was a card I made with my first Penny Black Stamp and my first black and white card. The papers were from a Papermania Pad.
