5 years old!

It doesn't seem possible that my little grandson is already 5 years old! It was his birthday yesterday so I sent him this card as all little boys of that age like dinosaurs!

I used the Dinoroar stamp set  from Stampin' Up and cut out the letters with my Cricut.  If you would like to buy one of these stamp sets  you can find details of how to order here

Paper Version

Well I said ! might have a go at doing a paper version of digital scrap page in the previous post - and I have.It took ages to find the right colour paper and card in my stash, I knew I had the flowers and ribbons. After a lot of searching found some I liked. The frame was cut out with Spellbinders and the swirls I did on my Cricut.I even had problems printing the photo as my photo printer had not been used for some time, and even after cleaning the printhead the colour was definitely not right. We looked very pink! New ink cartridge installed - and success - we looked the right colour!

Which do you prefer the paper version or the digital one? I can't decide!

Two Quick Birthday Cards

Yesterday I had to make two very quick cards for posting in the afternoon. I was only asked to make them the night before! The first was for a 40th birthday so I used some decoupage that I had bought back at the Make it Show in Farnborough for just such an occasion! The lettering was made using my Cricut.

The second was for a 1st birthday so as I had some Tatty Teddy things on my table used those.

Hot Hot Hot

I've just been tidying up the computer! and realised that I hadn't blogged this card which was made earlier in the year for a card swap. As I had only just taken delivery of a Cricut Expression decided to have a play with it and this was the result. The theme for the swap was "Hot or Cold". I went for hot! Cartridges used were Doodlecharms and George and Basic Shapes.

Two Birthday Cards

This is for my son's birthday next month. It is made from some Papermania products from one of their goody bags.

This is for my gorgeous grandson Jack who will be one next week. I've again used some Papermania decoupage from a goody bag. The letters and number were cut using my Cricut.
