At last I've managed to sneak a few minutes to make a card - I'm afraid life has been getting in the way - and I'll probably not be around much for the next couple of weeks either. Less is More this week is asking for washi tape. This is the first time I have used these particular ones.
I have added a flower made with the clay and moulds which I coloured with markers. Much less messy than using re-inkers and I could use two colours. The leaves were cut using the bird punch. I originally did green ones as they are leaves but they just didn't look right, so used a scrap of dark blue (not sure which one) instead and think it looks much better. As it was a scrap I'm also off for a quick visit to the Playground as well!

Paper Clay Roses
No card to show you today but I did spend yesterday evening playing crafting! It was quite therapeutic playing with the clay and moulding these roses while I watched TV.
When I'm ready to use them I'll colour them to match whatever project I'm doing. I used one here.

Less is More - Handmade Flowers
Last minute for Less is More again! I finally managed to get into the craft room after boiler fitting, five visits from the washing machine repair man and house sitting while my partner had replacement windowsfitted (he was at work). I was definitely getting withdrawal symptoms. On top of all that when I did have a few minutes the room was like a sauna! Anyway here is my last minute card!
I spent yesterday evening making some roses with SU's paper clay. This is one of the larger ones which I pressed into a Versamark pad, then sprinkled some iridiscent embossing powder on and heated it gently. The leaves were cut with a Spell binders die. As the green mount and leaves were from my snippets box I'm also going to pop alaong to the Playground and see what has been going on there this week.
