I was excited last week to be a Dynamic Darling with this card. Thank you ladies!
This week the challenge at Dynamic Duos is to use Basic Grey and one other colour. I chose Real Red. The stamp is one of the single stamps that Stampin' Up! are offerring called Spect-acular.
I was very pleased when we got this stamp in the UK as I had admired a lot of cards in Blogland that had been made with it when it came out in the US. I highlighted one pair of specs by colouring them red and adding Crystal Effects to the lenses. I have used the sketch from this week's challenge at Freshly Made Sketches and quite a lot of snippets (all the red card!) so will go for a play at the Playground as well. It must be my turn on the slide now!!
Recipe:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Readl Red
DSP: Basic grey paper stack (just retired)
Stamps: Spect- acular single stamp, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Markers: Real Red, Basic Grey
Other: Ribbon border punch, Jewellry tag punch (retired) card candy(non SU from stash)
Fantastic card Sue, love these spectacles :) cathy x

ReplyDeleteHi Sue - popped over from the playground - I just paid a visit to the optometrist - I wish the glasses popped the ways yours do on the card - it was so hard choosing between all those frames... have a great week - Mxx
