Arty Girlz Last Challenge

I decided to make a card for last week's Papertake Challenge which was "feeling fruity". But left it to the last minute and managed to smudge the ink and didn't like the finished result anyway so didn't post it. Today I have pulled it to pieces and cut the strawberries out and made a completely new card for Arty Girlz Challenge. Theirs was one of the first ones I ever entered and although I haven't done any for a long time it is sad to see that this will be the last. The theme is "stamping". The strawberries are stamped with versafine onyx black, coloured with Whispers pens and finished with Glossy Accents. The strip of paper is DCWV. The stamp was a freebie with Craft Stamper magazine last year.

Hopefully they will come back with more challenges in the future.

Number Challenge

It's been a long time since I made any challenge cards. But this week the Arty Girlz challenge is to use numbers and it just so happened that I had just finished making this card for my grandson and it seemed to fit the theme!

Arty Girlz 3D Challenge

Well, I started this blog so I could join in some of the many challenges there are out there so thought it about time I actually did one! Here's my attempt for the Arty Girlz 3D challenge. They have some lovely stamps from Bootiful Stampz as a prize. Why not have a look?ArtyGirlz
I seem to be in an oriental mood at the moment. For this card I mounted some floral paper onto pink pearlescent card, on that I mounted with 3D foam a piece of pink glitter card with a strip of the same paper on it, put some fancy corners on and themn mounted an oriental lady on 3D foam and a bird image on the other side.
