I used the Stampin' Up set Butterfly Basics and coloured the flower with Spectrum Noir pencils.

Last Post!
One of my goals for the coming year was to simplify my life! It has become increasingly time consuming to try and keep two blogs running so I have decided to revert to just one - my original one Zouave Cards.
So I do hope that any of my followers here will join me over there if you aren't already there.
Meanwhile here are a couple of cards I made as "Thank you's" using the new Butterfly Basics stamp set.
Unfortunately it was a bit gloomy when I took the photos so the flash came on which has made a bit of a shadow.
In due course I am going to try and import the posts on here to my other blog - so keep your fingers crossed I can get it to work! Look forward to seeing you on the other side!

Butterfly Birthday!
Happy New Year! A bit late I'm afraid! Sorry for my lack of posts just don't seem to have had time to blog even though I have done a little creating!
I had a play with some of the new stamps in the Spring/Summer catalogue to make a card for a friend's birthday. Now that her birthday is past I can show it.
I used a pretty new set called Butterfly Basics which comes with a matching set of framelits to cut out the butterflies. I also used Work of Art to make the background. The flower was fussy cut and popped up with silicone glue as the stems were a bit too narrow to easily use foam pads. I am going to enter this in Time to Craft who are looking for stripes - think my stripes down the side should qualify, and Seize the Birthday without the topping.
Editedto add: Darnell has kindly reminded me of her NBUS challenge, never thought about entering this as it is new stuff and I always think of NBUS as being older stuff! Anyhow I'm heading on over there now to enter.
