The challenge this week on Dynamic Duos is to use Melon Mambo and Island Indigo.
I decided to use the Mixed Bunch stamp set and make a one layer card. But when I'd finished decided it looked better mounted.
It's not the best of photos as I had to take it on the windowsill in order to get enough light. I'll be glad when the days get a bit brighter!
Cardstock: Whisper white, Island indigo, Naturald white
Ink pads: melon mambo, Island indigo
Stamp sets: Mixed Bunch, Curly Cute

Last Joyous Celebrations!!
This is the last of the Joyous Celebrations posts (hooray I hear you say!)
For this one I used the Joy stamp and the oval.I stamped in Raspberry Ripple but wanted a much smaller bow so had to use Real Red ribbon but it still works!
And this one used the final stamp in the set - a tiny bunch of mistletoe and a bow which I fussy cut (and it was fussy as it so small) and layered up
Stamp sets: Joyous Celebrations, Curly Cute
Card stock: Whisper white, Gumball green, Midnight Muse
Inkpads: raspberry Ripple, Midnight Muse, Gumball Green, Real Red
Misc: Holiday frame embossing folder, large oval punch 1/8" taffeta ribbon

Joyous Celebrations
This has to be one of the most versatile sets in the Autumn/Winter Seasonal catalogue. I love how it makes such easy clean and simple cards. Here I have used the Noel stamp on top of the oval which perfectly fits the large oval punch. It is also the perfect size to fit in the holiday frame embossing folder. I have used Midnight Muse ink, card and the gorgeous new ribbon.
Items used: Cardstock - whisper white, midnight muse
Ink: Midnight Muse and raspberry ripple
Ribbon: 3/8" stitched satin ribbon - midnight muse
Stamp sets: Joyous Celebrations, Curly Cute
Misc: Holiday frame embossing folder, large oval punch
I have made a whole set of these cards and will show you the others over the next few days.

Joyous Celebrations
I'm afraid I've been neglecting blogging recently due to total upheaval in the house! At fairly short notice I decided to have the decorators in to give the house a make over - well not so much a make over as a freshen up as it's still exactly the same colours. But that meant that I couldn't get near my craft room - in fact I stayed at a friends and only popped home to make sure work was going OK. Enough of my excuses - here is a card that I made a few weeks ago using the Joyous Celebrations stamp set and holiday frame embossing folder. I also used the new Core'dinations cardstock in Cherry Cobbler which I sanded down to give a distressed feel. The sentiment is from Curly Cute. The card blank was from my stash.
Ingredients:
Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler Core'dinations, Whisper White
Stamp Set: Joyous Celebrations, Curly Cute
Inkpads: Chocolate Chip
Holiday Frame Embossing folder
Stampin' sanding system
Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine
Extra large oval punch

Birthday Tornadoes!
Today I am showing a card I made for my son's birthday. I made it some time ago but had to wait till I knew he'd seen it before showing it on here. I'm not sure whether he reads this or even knows I blog!!
Now I have to admit that I "cased" this from a card shown on ILWS by a fellow demo - but added some more jets and different sentiment stamps. The stamp sets used are Need for Speed and Curly Cute.
