Less is More - Trees

This week the theme at Less is More is "Trees". I hadn't intended making a card yesterday I was shaking off the remains of a migraine, but went into my craft room for something else and saw this tree stamp waiting to be put away.

Five minutes later I had a card! The stamp is from a hostess set called Warmth and Wonder, the greeting is from Greetings of the Season which is not in the catalogue but is still available. I mounted the trees on a scrap of gold glitter paper and heat embossed the sentiment. So as I used a scrap (the white was a scrap too) I'm heading off to see what is going on in the playground.

Merry Monday #68 - Gold Snowflake

I decided it was time for some glitter for this week's Merry Monday challenge.

I used a stamp set that had never been used before (NBUS as per Darnell) and stamped and embossed in gold.  I should have made the Merry Christmas pennant a bit narrower I think so the underneath one's would show a bit more.

Recipe:

Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Champagne glimmer paper
Stamp Set: Snowflake Soiree, Greetings of the Season
Ink: Versamark
Other: Gold embossing powder, snowflake vellum(non-SU from stash)

Christmas Card Class

The first card used the Make a Mitten stamp set and matching punch, together with a framelit. The colour combination was cherry cobbler and crumbcake.

Next we made use of the aperture left from cutting out the framelit.

The base card was naturals ivory and was stamped randomly with one of the small stamps in the Make a Mitten set. The sentiment was stamped on crumbcake in the aperture and the addition of some cherry cobbler tulle and crochet lace trim completed it.

The third card was naturals ivory with a trim using the scalloped edge border. The little reindeer are from the Joyous celebrations set, punched out with a circle punch and mounted on the small scallop circle punch.  Sentiment from Greetings of the Season set.

And finally a very quick card using naturals ivory card base, candlelight christmas dsp, and crumb cake seam binding
