Happy Watercolor and Less is More

The challenge this week at less is More is the dreaded One layer Card! However I actually quite like making these! I know - I must be odd!!  The new Happy Watercolor stamp set from the Spring/Summer mini is perfect for one layer cards.  I stamped the paint splotch (is that a word?) in four colours then stamped the flower on top in black. I added some extra depth by colouring with the matching marker pens and added glossy accents to the flowers to finish.

Recipe:
Stamp set: Happy Watercolor, Fiels Flowers (sentiment)
Inks:  Pistachio Pudding, So Saffron, Crisp Canteloupe, Calypso Coral, Black Stazon
Misc: Glossy Accents

Matching card and a Final Sneak Peak

When I made this gift box my intention was to make a matching card but I have only just got round to it. I have used one of the new tag punches, this is rapidly becoming a firm favourite, to make the focal point. The stamp is also a sneak peak from the new Spring Catalogue, and the embossing folder is a Sale-a Bration freebie you can get when you spend £45. The DSP is retired but is the same as I used for the box. The semtiment is from Wetlands.

Come back tomorrow when I will show the new catalogue and give details of Sale- a -Bration, both of which go live tomorrow.
