80th Birthday Card

A friend living in France is going to be eighty next week. This is the card I have made her.

 I embossed the middle white piece of card with a Creative Expressions embossing folder. The two pink edge pieces were made with a Martha Stewart punch, the flowers, pink frame and number panel used spellbinders dies and the ribbon is Stampin' Up.


 

Less is More Week 22 - Shades of Blue

When I saw that the challenge this week was Shades of Blue I thought it would be quite easy. Wrong !! I tried all sorts of stamped images and none of them seemed quite right so in the end I went for three shades of blue card and punched them using a Martha Stewart punch then layered them up. Stamped  Best wishes in blue and added a dark blue butterfly. That should have been the finished card but somehow I'd managed to smudge some blue ink in the bottom corner so covered that with another butterfly, then had to add another at the top to balance it! So not quite as much "white space" as I'd intended!

Little Claire' s Designs Challenge 10 Pink and Brown

Litle Claire's Designs challenge is to use pink and brown. I covered a card blank with a pearlised textured brown card. On top of this I layered a patterned paper from K & Co and punched the top and bottom edge with a Martha Stewart punch. I added a strip of the brown card, which was also punched on the edges, across the centre and another narrow strip of the paper down the middle. I used the Little Claire's gerbera stamp from the June monthly kit and added it to a circle of brown cut with nestabilities. The image was coloured with Copics.

Blue and Silver Bauble Tree

This was made using the Martha Stewart Bauble punch and stamp. The baubles were  stamped in silver on white and the plain ones were cut out of white glitter paper, silver glitter paper, silver mirri board and silver holographic card. layered onto navy and silver mats and finished with a silver ribbon. The card blank was from Craftwork Cards.

Season of Joy

For this card I used the Stampin'Up Season of Joy stamp and embossed it with red sparkle embossing powder then mounted on red holographic card. The snowflake border is the Martha Stewart large snowflake border punch and the small snowflakes are from the Martha Stewart snowflake corner punch.

This card was made for the Crafty Cow card swap back in  September I think! I used the Martha Stewart cupcake stamp and punch set.  

More Henbury Lane

Two more cards using The Papermania Henbury Lane papers and stamps. This one has two stamped images and the centre image is the matching sticker.

The pink rose was coloured with pencils and the edges were inked with Tattered Rose distress ink. The lattice strip is a Martha Stewart edge punch.

Two New Cards

I haven't uploaded anything for ages so here are a couple of cards. The owl is a template from Anna Marie Designs.

The ne baby card is made using Martha Stewart punches and Sizzix Cattycorner alphabet dies.

Two ladies!

Here are two cards made in last few days. The first is using Card Creations Plus Art Deco Cd and the second I made to try out the Martha Stewart punches I succumbed to from QVC's last TSV. The stamps are from Clarity stamps and embossed with clear embossing powder.
