Another Two by Two!

After my last post I thought I'd better make a more feminine version - just in case she has a girl! It took me all of Sunday to make it though as I seem to have been suffering from some sort of bug - felt very off balance when I moved around, and a bit cold even though the house was really quite warm!

Again I'm using retired stuff - even the ribbon this time!

I wanted to use the cloud embossing folder but the clouds went the wrong way and they were impossible to match up so used the Fancy Fan EF instead which matches the pattern on the paper.  I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday for the layout.  The paper was from my snippets box again so I'm going to have another go on the swings at the Playground. I'm also going to enter at SUO Challenge where the theme is "Welcome Baby" . How opportune is that?

Two by Two

My partner's niece is expecting her second baby anytime now so thought I'd get a bit ahead and make a new baby card ready. As I don't know whether it's a boy or a girl I decided to make a gender neutral card.  I also wanted to use the Two by Two stamp I bought  as I think it is perfect for this and sadly I hadn't used it before it retired. In fact apart from the ribbon everything I've used is retired!!

Now that it's finished it doesn't seem to be gender neutral as I think there is too much blue - so maybe she'd better have a boy! The paper came out of my snippets box so I'm going to pop over to the Playground to see what's been going on while I've been away!
