Last of the April Birthday Cards

I made this card for my step-daughter's partner. He is very keen on football so this image from Dr Digi was perfect for him.

I found a scrap of paper that looked like brickwork to have as a backdrop for him, and mounted it onto a scrap of red card. The image was coloured with Copics. I used red and blue because I like them together and I wasn't  sure what team he supported anyway! He seemed to be happy with it- although the cheque taat was inside it might have helped!

More Less is More -Sport and Snow!

Just posted this on my other blog but thought I would put it here as well!

It was taken about 10.30 this morning and it is still snowing! So plenty of time for crafting today. After posting the skateboard boy yesterday in Less is More Challenge - Sport I had a rummage through the rest of my stamps and found a page of stamps that I think were free with a magazine last year. All male orientated amongst them a footballer so I made a second card for the challenge.

I coloured him with Lyra pencils and he had to have a blue shirt so that I can give it to my son on his birthday. He's a keen Chelsea supporter so no other colour would do. I left his shorts white as I thought that was their strip only to catch a snippet of a game on the news last night and they were in all blue! So I might have to add a bit more colour before I give it to him.
