Holiday Ornament

One of the lovely new Christmas sets in the Autumn/Winter catalogue is the Ornament Keepsakes set which has matching framelits to make the cutting out so easy! Here I have stamped it in the lovely new raspberry ripple ink. It is mounted on a piece of gumball green card (another new colour) which I have torn round the edges, layered onto raspberry ripple card and onto a piece of DSP from the Merry Moments Simply Scrappin' kit, and all mounted onto white. The whole thing finished with a bow made from the new gumball green stitched satin ribbon. The sentiment (which looks crooked in the photo) is from Petite Pairs.

Bordering on Romance

This is one of the new stamp sets in the summer mini which I have used for the first time. It is coloured with the SU markers in Riding Hood Red, Pear Pizazz and Marina Mist (it should have been Baja Breeze but I yhought it need something a little deeper). The papers are from the Twitterpated DSP, I used the framelits to cut them out and added the new pleated satin ribbon also from the summer mini. The sentiment is Teeny Tiny wishes stamped out with the word window punch, mounted on red cut with the modern label punch. Three rhinestones on the ribbon and faux stitching around the image finished it off.

A simple treat bag all ready for holding a cellophane nag of sweets! Baha Breeze and Riding Hood Red  cardstock, Twitterpated DSP, Framelits, Apothecary Art stamp set all finished off with a bow made from Victoria lace ribbon, and an antique brad. The closure ( a hook and loop dot) is hidden by a flower cut with boho blossom punch and a rhinestone in the middle.

Framelits Shaped Card

Hello there - it's a beautiful sunny day today - at last! Here is a card I made to demonstrate the new hostess set, Pedal Presents, from the summer mini.

I decided that this stamp set would look nice on a shaped card using the framelits dies. And I think it does ---but of course as there is a point on the bottom edge as well as the top it wouldn't stand up (lol) so I had to cut it off!!
The paper is Attic Boutique and the image was coloured with markers and the balloons decoupaged. Hope you like it.

Less is More Challenge Week 66

Well having not done any challenges for quite a while I decided to have a go at this one this week and this is my third card. The first ones can be seen here.  This time I have used all SU products.

I used the new framelits to cut out the image and yellow mat, the Apothecary Art stamp set and dotted scallop ribbon border punch. The colour is Daffodil Delight. The framelits and stamp set are both from the new summer mini. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes.

A Mini Maze Book

I saw one of these demonstrated a couple of weeks ago and decided I would like to have a go - and they are really easy to make out of one sheet of double sided paper. There are lots of demos on how to make them on You Tube and the web.

I intended to showcase some of the products from the new summer mini but I ended up using lots and lots of products from the mini and main catty!! It's also not the easiest thing to photograph to show you .This is the front and the following are some of the inside elements.

The last two pictures show the album opened out . Where there is a square missing is because I stuck two squares together to make the back cover and hold the ribbon in place. Now for the list of items used:

From the Summer Mini

Twitterpated DSP
Simply Scored Scoring Tool
Framelits Dies
Apothecary Art Stamp Set
Mixed Bunch Stamp set
Blossom Punch
From Main IB&C

Beautiful Wings Embosslit Dies
Bird Builder Punch
Itty Bitty shapes punch pack
Decorative label punch
Various circle punches
Pear PizzazStitched polyribbon

I also used the large scallop circle from the Spring mini which is not available now but do hope it makes it into next year's catalogue.

I think I should have called this "see how many different things you can use in one project!" LOL.

Hope you've enjoyed looking and come back again soon!

Lots of Exciting News!!

Gosh there is so much exciting news I need to share with you today and I've been so frustrated as I had no internet all morning!!

First the new summer mini catty is here. This is the first time we have had a summer mini in the UK and everyone is so excited by it and all the lovely new products in it. I think top favourite has to be the new scoreboard - so useful and so easy to use as well.  Then there are the new dies, embossing folders, gorgeous stamp sets and beautiful DSP and fabrics. Well why not go and have a look for yourself. Click on the link in the sidebar or if you would rather have a paper copy to browse through drop me an email and I'll pop one in the post to you.

Secondly to go with the scoreboard SU have brought us a diagonal scoreboard (not in the catty as it has just been brought to us today) so we can make envelopes to match our cards plus all sorts of projects. Have a look at this video:

Thirdly they have reduced the price of the starter kit for new demonstrators!! Now it is only £99 and fully customisable. See HERE for full details. In addition anyone who signs up this month (May) will have their registration fee for convention on Mainz in November for free. You will only have to pay your travel and hotel. How amazing is that?

And now here's something made with new products.

I have used the new Twitterpated DSP , the edge of the card was cut using the new edgelits die, the easel stopper is made from the edgelits die again and embossed with the square lattice embossing folder and topped with the gorgeous new pleated ribbon. the main part of the card has been cut with the brand new framelits and stamped with the co-ordinating Apothecary stamp set. And the card itself was scored with the fantastic new scoreboard.

Don't forget to pop back tomorrow to see what else I've made.
