Little Claire's Monthly Kit

This is the June Little Claire's monthly kit. A gorgeous gerbera stamp set. This is the actual kit made to their instructions with the exception of the ribbon. I replaced that with some raffia which I thought went well with the stamp and colours. (Also because I couldn't tie a decent bow with the ribbon supplied! Nothing wrong with the ribbon - just me!)

Black Magic Technique

I saw a demonstration on the internet this week for the " black magic technique" so thought I'd try it and managed to incorporate it into the Monday challenge on Docrafts. The technique is to stamp an image in white onto black card then colour it with pencils and outline in white gel pen. You need to use a stamp that is blocked - not just an outline stamp. The one I used is a gerbera from Funstamps and has been in my stash for ages.The papers are HOTP and Basic Grey Two Scoops.
