This became my favourite card that I made this year and I made quite a few of them. It was so simple and quick to make and I think looked quite elegant. I used the new gold shimmer card from SU which is gorgeous, Holly Berry DSP and the Pines and Poinsettias stamp set which was coloured with markers. The stamped image was mounted onto real red card and the final touch was a dusting of glitter on the fir cones.

Pines and Poinsettias "CASed"
This is an almost totally cased card from SU's Impressions for December. The only differences are the faux stitching and a gliitered flower instead of a button. I'm really not a big fan of buttons on cards! The stamp set was Pines and Poinsettias and the paper is the Holly Berry DSP. Base card is Crumb Cake.

Another Version
Here is another version of the card in the previous post. Again I used Polar Party stamp set and the DSP is Pool Party. Colured in with markers and some glitter added. I had to hold off posting this one but hopefully Monica will have got hers by now if Mr Postman has been kind!

Gosh I don't know where the time has gone as it is over a month since I blogged. All I can say is I've been busy!! This is a card I made from one of the Countdown to Christmas projects from Lee Conrey. I used Old Olive DSP, Whisper White cardstock, Polar Party and Perfect Punches stamp sets and old olive and real red markers. The circle was cut with a nestie and the embossing folder was my own as SU don't do a snowflake one over here.

Pennant Punch Trees
I've been on a mission to use up some of the stash left over from last Christmas. These card blanks have been ideal for making quick and easy cards - perfect when you need a lot!! As a greeting is pre-stamped round the edge there is no need to find a suitable sentiment. I made a whole batch of these using up different scraps of paper. The trees are made using Stampin Up's Pennant Punch and the pots were stamped with the matching stamp set - Pennant Parade. I've posted on here and not on my SU blog as the papers and card were not SU.

First Christmas Cards.
I have delayed as long as possible posting Christmas cards but the time has come! I made these for my two grandsons. Very easy cards - some backing papers from my stash - no idea what make and some decoupage from sheets I have had for a long time. again I don't know what make they were. Some Polar White Flowersoft was added to them both for a bit of interest. I had to take them downstairs to photograph ( I craft in the tiny bedroom) and some of the flowersoft had obviously fallen off on the cupboard un-noticed. I was very perplexed a few days later when I noticed it and wondered what on earth the cat had been doing while I was out. Until the light suddenly dawned on me!!!

Last Minute Challenge Card
I have been planning to do the challenge at Simply Stampin all week. Just don't know where the week has gone as now it's Friday and I'm rushing to post this before I have to go out! The challenge this week is a sketch . I have used the new Polar party stamp set mounted on some scraps of real red card . The DSP is a retired one from last year and the base card is garden green. Sorry this is so rushed. Will edit any typos later!!

First workshop
I had my first workshop on Thursday evening . As it was a group that I already belong to I did 3 make and takes for them. It all seemed to go very well and they seemed pleased with what they had made - 2 cards and a favour box. And here they are:
We used Old Olive, Real Red and Whisper White card and ink
Contempo Christmas, Serene Snowflakes and Perfect punches stamp sets
Bauble punch, modern label punch and circle punches.
I made my samples before I got the bauble punch so ine were cut out by hand!
