Brand New Annual Catalogue!!

After much anticipation the brand new bigger catalogue is finally here!! And this year we have got all the same things as the US with the exception of MDS (Digital software). There is heaps of scrummy stamps, delectable dies, pretty papers, ravishing ribbons - I could go on but why don't you just click on the image in my sidebar and have a look for yourselves. If you would prefer a hard copy just email me at cards.sue@ntlworld.com.

If you want it all (and you will) then why not sign up with me and become a demonstrator. The starter kit is just £99 and is fully customisable. In addition if you sign up in October or November you will get free designer paper for 6 months!! Click here for full details.

I'll be back soon with some samples to show.

Digitally Sweet

I've been having a play with Craft Artist while I wait impatiently for Craft Artist2 to drop through my letterbox.  There is a sketch challenge on the Digitally Sweet Challenge site this week so have played along. This is the first time I have used a sketch for a scrapbook page and have enjoyed doing it. In fact I think I may have a go at doing a paper version!

Birthday Tornadoes!

Today I am showing a card I made for my son's birthday. I made it some time ago but had to wait till I knew he'd seen it before showing it on here. I'm not sure whether he reads this or even knows I blog!!

Now I have to admit that I "cased" this from a card shown on ILWS by a fellow demo - but added some more jets  and different sentiment stamps. The stamp sets used are Need for Speed and Curly Cute.

Gilding Flakes

I've been having a play with FlitterGlu and gilding flakes. Not a very good card as the stamping is a bit wonky!! But love the effect! Only trouble is I got in an awful mess - worse than glitter!! I think I need to find a bigger box for the flakes! I'll certainly be using it to make some cards but will make sure the stamping is OK. The stamps I used here are from Clarity Stamps. Really pretty.

I found this image in my "misc" box. I had stamped and coloured it last year, then never used it! Time for it to make an appearance and be used. I mounted it onto Real Red cardstock then onto a small square card. The stamp set is Polar Party, coloured with Stampi'Write markers in Old Olive and Real Red and some glitter added.

Another CAP project

Well told you thatI'd been playing with CraftArtist so here is another sample for you. It started life as a scrapbook page but then thought it would make quite a nice Christmas card. So printed it off and added "real" glitter and Glossy Accents.

Green and White Christmas

I have used new items from the Autumn/Winter Seasonal catalogue to make this card- which is really simple and quick to make. perfect for batch making!!

I used the new embossing folder "Holiday Frame" on whisper white card. The small bauble is from the Ornament Keepsakes stamp set and cut with the matching framelits. The colour is the new Gumball Green which I think is going to be my favourite shade of green this year!! Mounted onto Gumball Green card.

Something different !

I have spent quite a lot of tme recently playingwith CraftArtist Professional - making mainly scrapbooking pages as I still prefer paper for cards rather than digitally produced ones. However I do enjoy creating scrap pages digitally. This is one I have just done as a memory of the last couple of days before I had to have my cat put to sleep.

There is also a brand new challenge site - Digitally"Sweet" Challenges - and they are asking for multiple  photos for their first challenge.

I used some paper that was left over from making yesterday's mini book to make this simple card. The paper was mounted on Cherry Cobbler card again from yesterday's leftovers. But the dotted band was made from the lovely new Core'dinations cardstock - embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots folder then distressed with the new Stampin' Sanding System. The stamp is one of last year's that I really like - Pines and Poinsettias.
