This week I've decided to have a go at the Less is More Challenge. The theme is Off Centre. I have used Creative Expressions Button Floral stamp set, stamping the flower onto what was left of the yellow spotty paper I used for the last card and highlighted the petals with 3D lacquer. Then I added a button threaded with yellow organza ribbon. I have to say ! am really pleased with the end result.

Yellow Easter Elephant!
I've been making this card for about 4 days! Something always seems to interrupt! So I was determined to get it finished today and uploaded. The stamp is Little Claires, the papers from Ppaermania Capsule collection, flowers and ribbon from stash. I wanted to put some small yellow buttons in the middle of the flowers but can I find them anywhere? Nooo. So it had to be brads instead.
I'm entering it in the following challenges:
Little Claires - Animals
Papertake Weekly - Spots n' stripes

April Showers
I don't know where the time has gone this week! Started this off nearly a week ago and only just got around to finishing it. I've got no idea what ths Tilda is called because I haven't kept the packets but she seemed to be perfectly suited to the April Showers challenge at Stamp Something. I've coloured her with Copics but I'm nowhere near as good at it as some of the cards I see. The background paper is from K & Co Sparkly Sweet.
I'm entering this into the following challenges:
Stamp Something - April Showers
Totally Papercrafts - Springtime
Just Magnolia - Happy Birthday

Sweet Spring
Here is today's effort! I used the sketch from this week's Totally Papercraft, the papers are from Basic Grey, the image from Little Claire's Designs coloured with Copic Ciao pens, the sentiment I think is a Woodware one and the ribbon was from my Mother's Day flowers!! Perfect for cardmaking! I am entering this into the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp - For a Child
The ABC Challenge - Sugar and Spice
Lili of the Valley - Happy Birthday

Spring Owl
The current Little Claire challenge is "Spring Celebrations" so I decided to use their April club stamp (even though that is the prize!) as I think it is a gorgeous stamp! I'm also going to enter it into this week's Papertake Weekly Challenge "Truly Dimensional". Now I have to tell you that despite what the photo looks like it really is dimensional. The front image panel across the gatefold is raised as is the owl and the flower.

Easter cards
I don't usually make Easter cards but the card swap I participate in has the the Easter for this months and decided to send one to each of my grandsons as well as it's difficult to post Easter eggs. No doubt they'll have "chocolate tokens" in!! No idea what make the decoupage is as it's been in my stash a long time but the dotty paper is from Papermania as are the flowers and bow and the cardstock is from Kanban.

Blue and White
The Crafty Cow forum has a monthly challenge and this year it is a sketch challenge. This is the card I've made for the April sketch. The flower stamp is from Penny Black and was stamped in white and embossed with white detail powder on navy card. The sentiment is also stamped in blue using Adirondack denim. The stamp is from Hobby Art.

Hot Hot Hot
I've just been tidying up the computer! and realised that I hadn't blogged this card which was made earlier in the year for a card swap. As I had only just taken delivery of a Cricut Expression decided to have a play with it and this was the result. The theme for the swap was "Hot or Cold". I went for hot! Cartridges used were Doodlecharms and George and Basic Shapes.

Two Birthday Cards
This is for my son's birthday next month. It is made from some Papermania products from one of their goody bags.
This is for my gorgeous grandson Jack who will be one next week. I've again used some Papermania decoupage from a goody bag. The letters and number were cut using my Cricut.
